Fried rice: check out the practical recipe
This situation is not uncommon in many households: making rice for lunch and much left over. What to do? You can prepare rice dumplings, soufflé, oven rice and yakimeshi! Hey, you do not know what that last one is? We explain: yakimeshi is a dish of oriental origin, known in Brazil as fried rice. Ingredients of fried rice
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- 100 g ham in small cubes
- 1 grated carrot
- 1/2 cup chopped chives
- olive oil or
- salt
Method of preparation
Place the chopped onion in a large, preferably non-stick, skillet, and place a wire of olive oil or oil.
Season with salt and sauté until golden onion over low heat.
In the bowl which is the cooked rice, place the onion.
With the pan over medium heat, place the carrot and the ham and allow to braise.
Add the chives.
Turn off the heat, put the rice and mix.
Transfer the rice to a bowl.
In the pan, add another strand of olive oil and place the eggs.
When you start cooking, put the rice and mix.
Increase heat, season with pepper (if you like) and turn off.
